The BREX function in detail
BREX, the real, road-approved brake light and emergency brake light function.
If the integrated BREX sensors detect a negative acceleration and thus a braking process, the rear light shines much brighter and more conspicuously. Following traffic immediately understands: ATTENTION, THE BICYCLE IS SLOWING DOWN!
In the event of an emergency stop, the light also pulses extremely conspicuously – highest warning level. In such a braking situation, following traffic can usually only react instinctively. The impressive, visual emergency brake impulse from BREX can trigger such immediate reactions and prevent serious accidents.
Rear lights with BREX are approved according to the latest StVZO and shine significantly brighter during braking processes than previously approved rear lights with deceleration light.
